Welcoming Chantel McHenry as CEO

The Attack Poverty Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Chantel McHenry as Chief Executive Officer.

After serving as Interim CEO since spring 2026, Chantel will continue leading Attack Poverty into its next season of strengthening under-resourced communities through spiritual growth, education, revitalization, and basic needs.

This appointment marks an exciting new chapter, but it does not begin a new direction. Chantel has already been leading the organization with steadiness, clarity, and renewed energy. She has earned the trust of the board, staff, community partners, donors, and neighbors we serve.

Chantel brings extensive experience in nonprofit management, strategic operations, and executive leadership, including leadership roles at Vanderbloemen, Hope City, Lakewood Church, and The Prayer Institute. Known for helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen teams, and turn vision into action.
