Generator provided for Roy and Lucinda

Our dear friends Roy and Lucinda went without power for multiple nights this week just like many other Texans.

Roy from the North Richmond community is a recent kidney transplant patient and has gone through some big health challenges. Roy and Lucinda were trying to stay warm in their truck at night, but this wasn’t sustainable for them.

They were trying to stay warm in their truck at night.

Thankfully, our team was able to find a generator so that they could sleep comfortably through the night.
These photos are from some of our team from AP (Brandon [CEO] and Jason [Senior Director of Operations]) and Friends of North Richmond (Elise and [Director] and her husband, Leo Caire) helping to set up the generator and a tent so Roy and Lucinda could have heat. These two have been such a blessing to our team and the North Richmond community.

This update is part of our ongoing Texas Storm Response. We are so grateful for your generous support and commitment to helping us break the cycle of generational poverty.
